Brass oil lamp Traditional Kavara Vilakku is a special 3 lamps in one vilakku, the Kavara vilakku has a prominent place in temples and pooja rooms. It lit during poojas and special occasions of festival in Temples. This firm lamp has three branches or Kavara in malayalam hence got the name Kavara Vilakku. Lighting this lamp brings brings happiness and prosperous. Also believed that lighting will remove darkness from once soul. Each branch will have five wicks to light. wicks are soaked in Ghee or vegetable oil as fuel to light.
